Our Service Guarantee

At Electronics-r-us, we stand behind the quality of our work with a comprehensive service guarantee. We want you to be completely satisfied with our appliance repair services, and we've developed clear policies to protect your investment.

90-Day Service Warranty

What's Covered

  • All repair work performed by our technicians
  • Parts and labor for the specific repair completed
  • Defects in workmanship or installation
  • Failure of replaced parts under normal use

Warranty Terms

  • Warranty period begins on the date of service completion
  • Valid only for the original customer and service address
  • Covers parts and labor for the specific issue repaired
  • Does not cover normal wear and tear or misuse

Refund Policy for Services

Service Completion

Once we complete a repair service and receive payment, our refund policy is as follows:

  • No Refunds on Completed Work: Labor charges are non-refundable once service is completed and paid for
  • Warranty Service: If the same issue recurs within 90 days due to our workmanship, we will repair it at no charge
  • Quality Assurance: If you're not satisfied with the initial repair, contact us within 48 hours for assessment

Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds may be considered in the following rare circumstances:

  • When we are unable to complete the repair as promised
  • If we fail to fix the specific problem we diagnosed and quoted
  • When customer dissatisfaction is due to our technical error or misdiagnosis

Parts Return Policy

Eligible for Return

  • New, unused parts in original packaging
  • Parts returned within 30 days of installation
  • Parts that are defective upon installation
  • Incorrect parts provided due to our error

Return Process

  1. Contact us within 30 days to initiate a return
  2. We will provide return instructions and shipping information if needed
  3. Parts must be in new, unused condition with original packaging
  4. Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days after we receive the parts

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom-ordered or special parts
  • Parts that have been installed or modified
  • Items damaged by customer misuse or improper installation
  • Electrical components that may have been damaged by electrical issues

Diagnostic Fee Policy

When Diagnostic Fee Applies

  • All diagnostic calls carry a $25 fee
  • Fee is applied toward repair cost if service is completed
  • Non-refundable if customer declines recommended repairs
  • Waived for customers who proceed with approved repairs

Diagnostic Fee Refunds

Diagnostic fees are non-refundable in the following situations:

  • When we provide an accurate diagnosis and estimate
  • If customer decides not to proceed with repair after receiving estimate
  • When repair is not feasible due to appliance condition

Diagnostic fees are applied toward repair costs when the customer approves and we complete the recommended service.

Appointment Cancellation Policy

Customer Cancellations

  • Free Cancellation: Up to 2 hours before scheduled appointment
  • Cancellation Fee: $25 fee for cancellations with less than 2 hours notice
  • No-Show Fee: $25 diagnostic fee may be charged for no-shows
  • Rescheduling: Free with 2+ hours notice

Our Cancellations

If we need to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, equipment failure, etc.), there is no charge to you, and we will work to accommodate your schedule as soon as possible.

Manufacturer Warranties

Genuine Parts Warranty

  • We honor manufacturer warranties on genuine parts we install
  • Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and part
  • Some parts may have extended warranties beyond our 90-day service guarantee
  • Customers should register manufacturer warranties when required

Warranty Claims

If a genuine part fails during the manufacturer warranty period, we will handle the warranty claim process for you and replace the part at no charge to you.

Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns about our service or policies, we encourage you to contact us directly first:

  • Step 1: Contact our service team to discuss the issue
  • Step 2: Management review for unresolved concerns
  • Step 3: Mediation or arbitration if necessary
  • Step 4: Virginia state courts as final resort
